Cadence

Independent artists manage releases, tours, and emerging ideas at once. Rob built Cadence around a connected career model so a change in one part of the work could be seen in relation to the rest.

A career is more than a task list

A release, tour, collaboration, and unfinished idea compete for the same time and energy. Conventional project tools separate those efforts into lists, making dependencies and momentum difficult to see. Cadence began with that product problem.

/02

Model the relationships

Rob's product decision was to represent pursuits, movements, dependencies, and momentum as a connected body of work. The model had to serve the long horizon and the next concrete action without making either disappear.

/03

Make change visible and actionable

The career map shows the whole system; pursuit and movement views reveal its parts; task detail helps an artist act. Together, those interactions show how a shifted release or new opportunity changes the surrounding plan.

/04

Show the product's actual stage

Cadence remains an early-access product. Its built interaction model shows how an artist can keep planning connected as work changes.
